Aroma:

sweet-bitter resinous, coniferous, refreshing.

Obtained by:

is obtained from needle of evergreen tree Common spruce (Picea abies L.) of Pinaceae family by using method of steam distillation.

Characteristics:

tonic, antidepressant, sedative; immunostimulant; antiseptic, bactericidal, antiviral; anti-inflammatory, analgetic; wound-healing, stimulates blood and lymph circulation; antitussive, broncholytic, expectorant; cholagogue; diuretic; promotes hair strengthening, prevents dandruff appearance; reduces sweating; soft erotic stimulant.

Recommended for treatment:

mental and physical overloads, depression, nervousness, neurasthenia, asthenia, for recovery after bad diseases and operations, to stimulate immune system; stomatitis, gingivitis; rhinitis, pharyngitis and laryngitis, quinsy, otitus media, viral respiratory infections, flu; in tracheitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, multiple bronchiectasis, whooping cough; articular pains, rheumatic, rheumatoid and podagric arthritis, radiculitis; nephritis and urinary bladder, urination retention; nocturnal enuresis; for stimulation libido; for treatment of nonhealing wound, ulcers, skin chaps, in injuries, haematomas, abrasions; in furunculosis, pustular eruptions and acne on skin, toprevent hair loss and dandruff appearance; in excessive foot sweating.

Properties of oil:

colorless or light yellow liquid with a pleasant bitter-resinous pine smell that reminds smell of oil of silver fir.

Ways of using, dosage:

vaporization in aroma lamp: 3-7 drops per 15 m2;

hot inhalations: 2-3 drops to 1-2 litres of hot water;

cold inhalations: 2-3 drops into aroma pendant;

aroma bath: 3-7 drops per bath;

baths and saunas: 4-7 drops per 500 ml of water;

rubbing: 4-5 drops per 5-10 ml of vegetable base oil;

cosmetics enrichment: 4-6 drops per 10 grams of base (cream, shampoo, gel, liquid soap, etc.).

Caution:

do not use during pregnancy. Use cautiously in a pathology of kidneys.

Storage:

essential oils are stored in tightly closed dark glass bottles in indoor temperature in place inaccessible to children. Protect from light.
