Cough & Cold Warming Balm
This herbal balm is based on a blend of natural waxes, vegetable and essential oils.
It is free of mineral oil, silicones, and artificial colourants.
The balm is specifically designed for rubs and inhalations to treat the common cold and flu. Its active ingredients produce a warming effect, relieve cough, and reduce inflammation in the upper respiratory tract. They also have bactericidal properties.
The product is formulated with a blend of essential oils which comprises Siberian fir oil, eucalyptus oil and lavender oil. These oils have antiviral, analgesic, broncholytic, and sudorific properties. They relieve stuffy nose and cough, as well as produce an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Shea butter, palm oil and cocoa butter contained in the balm moisturise, nourish and soften the skin, prevent dry and flaky skin, and speed up the healing of minor injuries.
Natural beeswax and carnauba wax have an antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect, as well as help to keep the skin hydrated. Camphor has a warming effect, it relieves inflammation and stimulates microcirculation.
Directions
Apply a small amount of balm to your chest, back and feet. Massage lightly and cover with a warm towel. For inhalations, add some balm to hot water and inhale vapours for 15 minutes. Inhalations are an effective treatment for tonsillitis, laryngitis, tracheitis and bronchitis. You can also add some balm to warm baths once you start recovering.
